COOK&CORK | Mezcal Tasting Experience | In this hybrid class we will learn how to taste the Mezcal with a variety of plates and ingredients to understand the interaction of Mezcal with food. Learn about the History and origins of Mezcal. In our Mezcal Tasting Experience you will learn how to prepare Mezcal drinks and how to cook authentic Mexican salsas with molcajete. Chef Luisa del Castillo will also prepare an authentic Mexican Artisan menu for the students to taste with the Mezcal. Join us Friday, June 23rd, Mezcal Tasting Experience It's going to be delicious! What would you be tasting and cooking? Tasting Mezcal Menu: Suadero Taco & Salsa Morita Garlic Octopus with Chili Crust Cooking Menu: Salsas Guacamole with Grasshoppers Oaxaca Chocolate Mousse with Flambé bananas and Mezcal Cook&Cork is BYOB (bring your own bottle) so you can cook & relax in our kitchen. Mezcal Recommendations by our Chef Luisa del Castillo Tobala, Espadin & Chuishe. - Cook&Corks are held on Saturdays, 6:00 – 9:00pm. - Students must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol. - Cook&Corks is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle). - Students under 18 must be accompanied by an adult - $95 per person. - Tips for our staff are not expected but are greatly appreciated. - Please note that we do not offer refunds but honor a 48 hour cancellation policy in order to reschedule your reservation. - No dietary restrictions or allergies will be accommodated for this classes. - Class size is limited to 14 people. Reservations are based on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis. - Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. If you have long hair, be sure to tie it behind your head. - Students will receive a full copy of recipes.
