WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?

Please see our class schedule.  We are normally at our location two hours before classes begin.

 

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

Texas Culinary Institute is located at: 2101 Texas Ave. El Paso TX 79912 (in between Piedras St. and Cotton)

There are plenty of spots on Willow St. 

 

DO YOU OFFER VEGETARIAN OPTIONS?

Yes!  We can make select menu items vegetarian if given prior notice. We also have a new Vegan class!

 

DO YOU HOST KIDS COOKING CLASSES?

We offer classes for children ages 7-17, we also host private events such as Birthday Parties

 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? 

You are more than welcome to change or cancel your class reservation up to 48 hours before your scheduled class start time for an account credit. We do not offer credit card refunds, and we are not able to offer class credit or transfers for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, personal emergencies or events beyond our control. You are always welcome to send someone in your place, as we understand that these things do happen. If you are purchasing this class or event as a gift, please provide this cancellation policy to the recipient, as the policy will still apply.

 

ARE CLASSES HANDS-ON?

Yes! All our classes are hands on.

 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Whatever makes you feel comfortable!  All our classes are hands on, so we suggest casual clothing and comfortable closed toe shoes and hair pulled back.

 

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO CLASS?

There is no need to bring anything to class, all material and ingredients are included.

WHAT IS YOUR BYOB POLICY?

All our classes are BYOB, you are more than welcomed to bring beer or wine. 

 

SHOULD I ARRIVE EARLY?

Feel free to arrive 10 minutes early to find parking and get situated.

 

HOW LONG ARE CLASSES?

Classes last around 3 hours, unless otherwise noted.

 

ARE BEGINNERS WELCOME?

Our classes are for beginners as well as experienced cooks, our Chefs go over the basics at the beginning of the class and also guides every step of the way

 

WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL CLASS SIZE?

We usually host 12-14 guests.  However, we can adjust the class size for special events and private classes.

While gratuity is never expected, it is always appreciated. Our staff can accept gratuity via cash.
