Cook & Cork | Sabor de Hogar Culinary Experience Welcome to "Sabor de México: A Culinary Journey"! Immerse yourself in the vibrant and diverse flavors of Mexico as we embark on a culinary adventure like no other. Our theme for this experience is "Sabor de México," where we celebrate the essence and taste of Mexico through two iconic dishes: mole and marquesitas. Mole, a rich and complex sauce that varies from region to region, is the heart and soul of Mexican cuisine. In our hands-on cooking class, you'll learn the art of preparing mole from scratch, guided by our skilled chefs who will share the secrets of balancing spices, chilies, and other ingredients to create a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. Join us this upcoming FRI MAY 10th at 6:00pm Menu: Oaxacan Mole Marquesitas As we cook and feast together, you'll not only learn the techniques behind these iconic dishes but also gain insight into the cultural significance and stories that make them so beloved in Mexican cuisine. From the indigenous roots of mole to the modern-day street food culture of marquesitas, each dish tells a tale of Mexico's rich culinary heritage. - Cook&Corks are held on Fridays & Saturdays, 6:00 – 9:00pm. - Cook&Corks is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle). - Students must be 21 years or older to consume any alcohol. - $95 per person. - Tips for our staff are not expected but are greatly appreciated. - Please note that we do not offer refunds but honor a 48 hour cancellation policy in order to reschedule your reservation. - No dietary restrictions or allergies will be accommodated for this classes. - Class size is limited to 14 people. Reservations are based on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis. - Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. If you have long hair, be sure to tie it behind your head. - Students will receive a full copy of recipes.
